The philosophy at Essex Greenhouses is to produce a top quality greenhouse at a fair price. The unit is able to withstand both wind and snow loads. The Millford is an intermediate level greenhouse ideal for orchid lovers and for people that would like to have more control over the greenhouse environment. Many of the standard features of the Millford are only available as costly accessories from other manufacturers. The Millford is extremely versatile both beginning gardeners or experts will not be disappointed whether they use it for extending the growing season or for year-round gardening. The greenhouse includes the base frame, which is an integral part of the unit. The air exhaust system is also included. In extreme climates this is a necessity both to help control temperature build-up and provide good air flow for the plants. The system consists of a shutter fan, a motorized vent (or vents depending on greenhouse size), and a thermostat. All parts are top of the line manufactured by Schaefer Ventilation Equipment.
Features
- **Powder coat finish available in standard Green or White finish.
- Custom colors are available some may carry a small additional charge for special powder mix.
- **Aluminum
clad Hinged door (32” wide on 8ft models/ 36 wide on 10ft models) with
screened sliding center glass panels allowing for additional midsummer
venting.
- **Rainwater kit included standard with all models. By adding containers you can collect the rain water for your plants.
- **Exhaust
system consisting of a fan(s), motorized wall vent(s), a thermostat and
fan speed controller. We have increased the system size improving
airflow through the greenhouse.
- **Circulation fan by Schaefer is a commercial-grade assembly giving year-round air circulation for your plants.
- Shatter-resistant
polycarbonate 6MM twin-wall for more efficient heating control and a
higher degree of safety. UV protected on the outside and carries a
ten-year guarantee against yellowing.
- All glazing is pre-taped from the factory. Panels are ready to use from the box.
- Eave
height is 5-foot giving plenty of working room inside the greenhouse
without having to stoop. This also allows more room for shelving.
- All
greenhouses include an comprehensive assembly manual along with a DVD
showing each stage of assembly along with an 800 toll free help line.

Warranty
Millford Greenhouses come with a ten-year warranty on the frame. The polycarbonate also carries a ten-year warranty against yellowing. Schaefer Ventilation products carry a one-year warranty on their equipment.
